Port
Shell Molding was established in 1954 by two brothers with a vision.
The first castings were poured during 16-hour days in a dirt-floor
shed. Today, still a private, family-run foundry, our commitment
to quality, continuous improvement, and customer service has earned
our company recognition as a leader and innovator in the field
of shell mold casting.
We cast aluminum and all non-leaded brass and
bronze alloys, specializing in engineering grades of silicon,
aluminum, and manganese bronze.
The conversion from investment casting or complex
fabrication to shell molding through value engineering has produced
significant cost savings and remains our most effective sales
tool.
Productivity
Port Shell Molding is a production foundry.
Maximum productivity is assured through
advanced engineering concepts and 'state of the art' equipment.
Quality
Our quality management system,
QualityCast 9001, is ISO
registered
(Certificate Number 08-R1588) and built on the foundation of individual
employee responsibility and accountability. Each Port Shell Molding employee
accepts
responsibility for the quality of our products and services.
Convenience
Single
source responsibility, through in-house machining and selective
out-sourcing, is another benefit Port Shell Molding offers to
its customers.
